IOANNA’s project kick-off meeting took place in Nicosia on the 23rd and 24th of April 2018.
With the aim of giving the go-ahead to the project, the kick-off meeting allowed the different partners a first contact mainly focusing on the organization of the different activities planned for the next six months period.
Next project meeting has already been planned for September and it will take place in Bucharest, Romania.
Last September took place the second project meeting in Bucharest. Between the 12th and 13th September partners had the opportunity to meet again and discuss about the progress made in the first 6 months of the project. In this occasion, progresses performed by all partners were discussed and a first prototype was presented by Ideable Solutions.
IOANNA Project was selected to participate in the AAL2Business Workshop – Quest for viable Business Model, which took place before the start of the AAL Forum 2018 on Monday 24th September.
ESKILARA was the partner who participated in the workshop, focused on how AAL projects can apply new business development principles to design and test business models and value propositions quickly, to find out if those are viable for future AAL markets.
IOANNA’s poster was selected to be presented in the AAL Forum 2018 on Tuesday 25th of September.
Iñaki Bartolomé, from Ideable Solutions, presented the marketplace of local services for the elderly and its double objective, improve the quality of life of the elderly and combat their isolation, but also help businesses and professionals in the city who cannot compete with Amazon to reach another niche market.
